Just a few more weeks before the state of the art astroturf pitch opens at United Park.
The organisers of the Westport Local 5 a Side Competition are now taking entries.
The competition is restricted to a maximum of 16 teams.
There will be prizes for four different categories in the competition with all entry fees collected going directly to prizes.
The competition is open for the Westport District Area (Louisburgh, Kilmeena, Newport, Fahy, Aughagower, Cushlough, Islandeady, etc all included).
