This is a reminder that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place next Sunday at 2 PM in the clubhouse. As the most important meeting of the year, this is your opportunity to engage in vital decisions affecting the future of our club.
Over the past five years, attendance has been disappointingly low, with the highest turnout (47 members) occurring during the Covid era via online participation. With nearly 400 adult members, we have the potential to achieve a much stronger presence for this key meeting.
I am appealing to all members to prioritize attending the AGM next Sunday. For our loyal members who attend each year—thank you for your dedication. Please consider encouraging at least one other member to join you this time.
Remember, decisions made at the AGM shape the direction of our club, and once they are made, it will be too late to voice concerns or suggest changes. Your presence truly makes a difference.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible next Sunday at 2 PM in the clubhouse.
If you wish to send your apologies, please do so by emailing secretary.clarecastle.clare@gaa.ie
For those that cannot attend there will be a PDF version of reports available from the 13th of January, please register interest if you would like a copy.
Thank you for your continued support.
Best regards,
Neville O’Halloran
