Clarecastle GAA will be participating for the first time in the GAA’s ever popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ initiative starting on Wednesday January 15th for 6 weeks.
GAA clubs across the 32 counties will ensure ‘Ireland Lights Up’ by turning on their floodlights and hosting club and community groups.
Join us at Clarecastle Astro Turf starting next Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm, on our walking track facilities as we host our event. We are encouraging everyone including families to come together, stay active, and enjoy the community spirit for one hour. No registration required.
Running at the same time will be the hugely popular Irish Life Every Step Counts Challenge which commences this Wednesday January 8th hosted on the MyLife App. Back for a sixth year. The challenge offers participants the chance to win a share of €30,000 in club funding that Irish Life has made available for the ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ donation fund. Everyone who downloads Irish Life’s MyLife app will also get rewarded for being active!
By participating in Ireland Lights Up and the Steps Challenge, you’ll be joining a movement that promotes health, connection, and fun.
Looking forward to seeing you all. Please spread the word with families and friends.
