A very quiet weekend for our local community based Galway Clinic sponsored club Maree/Oranmore fc.
The weather certainly played spoil sport on Saturday last and there were no games Sunday due to FAI Senior mens and ladies cup finals in the Aviva Stadium.
Boys Team Result
The only game to go ahead on Saturday was on a 4g pitch in Roscommon Town where Maree/Oranmore fc u12 Premier Lads defeated Roscommon Town fc 4-1 in the u12 Connacht Cup with a brace of goals each from Gus Lohan and David Mc Laughlin.
All other fixtures fell foul of the terrible weather.
Fixtures
Next weekend sees a mixture of League and Cup action with the adult Premier squad playing West Utd on Sunday in League action in South Park probably the pick of the ties down for decision.
