In the U13 Football League Div 1 Final, Portarlington faced off against Portlaoise in scorching hot sunshine.

After a tightly fought first half Portlaoise emerged strong in the second to take a big lead, but our boys displayed tremendous skill and determination to fight back to within one score, alas the final whistle came too soon, and the game ended Portlaoise 4-06 to 4-03 Portarlington.

Despite the disappointment of the result, the boys can take pride in their performance.

Their resilience and bravery were on full display, as they fought until the very end.

The players exhibited great sportsmanship and determination, earning the respect and admiration of their supporters.

This match will undoubtedly serve as a valuable learning experience for this young squad.

With their talent and commitment, they are sure to bounce back stronger and we can look forward to great championship.

Hon Port!
