Dicksboro GAA Raises Over €140,000 Through ClubZap Fittest Superstars as ClubZap Opens Registrations for the 2027 Season

For Dicksboro GAA Club in Kilkenny, that challenge became an opportunity.

The club has successfully raised over €140,000 through ClubZap Fittest Superstars, creating one of Ireland’s most successful grassroots fundraising initiatives and proving what is possible when communities come together with the right support.

Following Dicksboro’s success, ClubZap is now inviting clubs across Ireland to register their interest for the 2027 ClubZap Fittest Superstars season.

A Community Event That Delivered Real Results

Inspired by the hugely popular Ireland’s Fittest Family format and developed in collaboration with the show’s original creator, Davy Fitzgerald, ClubZap Fittest Superstars transforms fundraising into a high-energy community event.

Teams of four compete in a series of physical and mental challenges while their local community gets behind them through sponsorship and fundraising activities.

Behind the scenes, ClubZap manages the operational heavy lifting including registrations, online payments, communications and event support – allowing club volunteers to focus on creating a memorable event rather than spending countless hours on administration.

For Dicksboro GAA, the result was more than €140,000 raised while bringing players, members, volunteers and supporters together around one shared goal!
